💙 Albion Juniors is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on volunteer coaches to help create a fun, positive, and successful experience for our players. Thanks to the amazing parents and volunteers who give their time each season, Albion Juniors has become one of the top recreational youth soccer programs in our community.

🌟 The coach plays a huge role in helping children fall in love with the game, build confidence, learn teamwork, and create positive habits both on and off the field.

🙌 You do NOT need to be a soccer expert to coach. We provide a formal curriculum, training resources, and support throughout the season. In many cases, being patient, encouraging, organized, and positive matters even more than soccer experience.

👏 If you care about kids, enjoy teaching, and want to give back to the community, you are qualified to coach.

REGISTER AS A COACH

📋 Coach Requirements:

• Commit to approximately 8 weeks of games and practices, plus 2 weeks of practice before games begin
• Volunteer approximately 1–3 hours per week
• Attend 1 Saturday game each week
• Hold 1–2 practices per week
• Complete a background check (required for all new coaches)
• Be a positive role model for players
• Communicate respectfully and encourage children throughout the season

• YOU choose your practice days, times, and locations based on your availability
• Spend quality time with your child while creating lifelong memories
• Help children build teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship skills

💥 Returning Coach Benefit:
If you are a returning coach and register during Early Registration, your child’s registration fee will be waived immediately. Please email us for instructions on how to receive the waiver during registration.

🚨 First-Time Coach Benefit:
First-time volunteer coaches may receive 1 FREE child registration waiver per team coached. Waivers are offered on a first-come, first-served basis until coaching spots are filled. To increase your chances of receiving the waiver, please register as early as possible.

After the first game of the season, approved first-time coaches will receive a refund for one child’s registration fee.
